Kar Kraft Engineering® was originally founded in 1966 by Ed Hull, legendary designer of the Ford GT40. Born out of Ford’s Advanced Vehicle program Kar Kraft was the performance “skunk works” for Ford’s highly successful Le Mans, Can Am, SCCA and Trans Am race teams in the 1960’s.
After conquering the 24 Houres of Le Mans Kar Kraft went on to design the Mustang Boss 302, Boss 429, Shelby GT350, GT500, and the body molds for the DeLorean DMC-12. Today Kar Kraft Engineering focuses on the design, development and distribution of parts for the aftermarket automotive industry. Our award winning staff has won more than fourteen industry awards in the past five years alone.
